Conference on healthy governance for an international alliance of professionals

Mandate and context

Travel Lifestyle Network (TLN) is an alliance of 25 independent communications agencies operating in over 40 markets and serving 500+ clients worldwide. As the network grows and evolves, TLN sought to reflect on its governance model to enhance agility, clarify decision-making processes, and strengthen strategic alignment among members. VOLUME10 was tasked with designing and facilitating a conference and collaborative workshop during TLN’s annual meeting, with the goal of launching a structured, forward-looking conversation on the network’s governance.

Implementation and solutions

Our intervention began with an interactive talk outlining the core pillars of healthy governance in a global network: clear decision rights, transparent communication, conflict-of-interest management, shared accountability, and adaptability. A hands-on workshop followed, structured around three guiding questions: - What aspects of current governance should be preserved? - What needs to evolve? - Where do we see friction, confusion, or blind spots? The session enabled open dialogue across regions and surfaced practical ideas for strengthening the governance framework.

Impact and outcomes

The workshop sparked a strategic conversation on TLN’s future governance, in a constructive and engaging setting. Members left with a clearer understanding of how to build greater cohesion, transparency, and collective impact across the network. A core group of leaders committed to advancing the dialogue and initiating a governance modernization roadmap ahead of the next strategic cycle.
